If you wish to take a Diplom in Market Access, you must take this course as the first of the compulsory courses.

Is this course for you?

This introductory course is for you who want to know more about or already work with Market Access in a pharmaceutical company operating on the Danish market. For example, you work in a commercial function, medical affairs, or regulatory affairs. Experience with Market Access is not a prerequisite.

What you will learn

  1. You get an introduction to the components of market access both in relation to the primary sector, secondary sector, and for vaccines.
  2. You will obtain knowledge about key stakeholders in the Danish healthcare system at a national, regional, and local level.
  3. You are briefly introduced to the framework and processes for market access in Denmark.
  4. You get an overview of mega trends in the healthcare system and a discussion of how these trends affect the collaboration between the healthcare system and the pharmaceutical industry.

What your company will get

  1. An employee who understands the processes of market access work and the most important stakeholders in the Danish healthcare system

Familiarise yourself with the compulsory reading material before the course, including the introductory parts of the Danish Medicines Council’s method manual for new medicines (page 5-8 are the most important) – find it here.
