Summary

In a nutshell, this two day course provides you with the competences that are necessary if you wish to start a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry - or if your job requires you to collaborate with the pharmaceutical industry in the Nordic countries.

The most important parameters for success as an employee in the pharmaceutical industry are:

  • the ability to work in a team,
  • understanding of your company’s internal departments and their value creation,
  • in-depth knowledge of the environment in which pharmaceutical companies operate.

This course provides you with a basic understanding of the entire value chain of the pharmaceutical industry in the Nordic region. You learn how ideas for new pharmaceutical products emerge, how they are developed and tested, and how companies obtain market access for their products. In addition, you learn how pharmaceutical companies price their products and what strategies are used for optimising marketing and sales.

Importantly, you also learn how to collaborate with the pharmaceutical industry’s stakeholders such as HCPs, patient associations, politicians and authorities (payers) in a compliant way in the Nordic region.

Other course participants say:

"The course is very well organised, and the speakers are competent and humble. The constructive course atmosphere promoted asking questions and interacting with speakers and other course participants. I learned a lot these two days, and I will recommend the course within my network."

Elisabetta Ferretti, Associate Professor, Copenhagen University

"A good overview of the most vital areas in a product's lifecycle. The course gave me a better understanding of the areas I am not in immediate contact with."

Julie B. Nielsen, Clinical Solutions Manager

"Well-planned and condensed course for people to gain an understanding of the pharma industry and its whole value chain."

Paulina Suchta, Content & Channel Specialist, Pfizer Denmark
