Summary
Transitioning from a specialist to a manager role requires a change in your way of thinking and behaviour: as a new middle manager, you must be able to balance between top management and your employees; and you must be able to both inspire and lead employees who previously may have been your colleagues.
This 2-day course equips you to create authentic leadership with clear personal values.
During the course, we help you find your personal leadership identity and your core values through self-reflection, sparring and practical exercises:
- You learn how to let go of control and demonstrate trust.
- You learn how to delegate and create results through the efforts of others.
- You achieve authenticity through strengthened self-awareness
During the course, you also develop a concrete action plan for how to integrate your values into your way of exercising leadership.
All in all, you leave the course with a solid foundation for practicing your leadership. All that is required is an open mind and the desire to develop your leadership skills.

- Introduction and purpose of the course.
- Reflections on good leadership and the difference between leadership and management.
- Discover your leadership identity and the importance of self-awareness as a leader.
- Exercises and discussion about leadership identity.
- Clarification of personal values and leadership style.
- Exercises to clarify individual values.
- Development of a personal action plan.
Day 2 (online attendance)
Learn to demonstrate your values in your leadership behaviour
- Follow up and learnings since last time.
- Further sparring on your leadership identity and personal values.
- Create your personal leadership compass based on your personal values.
- Adjustment of personal action plan.
