SUMMARY
We have seen an increase in demand in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries for qualified pharmacovigilance professionals. Our pharmacovigilance programme is designed to meet this demand, offering you a specialized understanding of pharmacovigilance issues based on a practical industry approach. The eight individual courses cover key stages of a drug’s lifecycle and aim to satisfy the educational needs of practicing pharmacovigilance professionals.
DESIGN YOUR OWN DIPLOMA
To earn the Diploma in Pharmacovigilance, you must attend and pass the exams of five courses within a five year period, one of which can be from the Regulatory Affairs Programme. Go to the Regulatory Affairs Programme.
You can design your own diploma by attending individual courses in whichever order you like.
Our courses mixes learning activities including classroom teaching, self-study, interactive discussions, case studies and workshops. We conclude each course with an examination about 4-6 weeks after the end of each course.
Our courses have been developed as a collaboration between a team of internationally renowned pharmacovigilance experts from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, the Danish Medicines Agency and researchers from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. Through their representation in the Steering Committee and as frequent course leaders and lecturers in the individual modules, all these experts are involved in the continuous development of our programme.
