Summary


Understand how and to whom you can compliantly advertise OTC medicines and medical devices before and after launch.


During this course, you will learn the differences between advertising to healthcare professionals and the public through cases and decisions from the Danish Medicines Agency.


You will learn who is defined as a healthcare professional and get answers about whether purchasers and retail staff are included in this definition.


You will understand what requirements advertisements must meet:

  • When there is a risk of social media posts becoming illegal advertising, and
  • How to use claims from the Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) and other sources in your marketing.

You will also learn which gifts and discounts are compliant.
