Meet Lone

One of Atrium's strengths is the team that makes it happen. Here you can get to know Lone who is Head of Scientific Team. What is that? And what does Lone’s background in learning and development at global life science companies mean for your experience at Atrium?

Why do you think it is exciting to work with education for the life science sector?

"I have worked in the life science sector for 30 years, which means that I am familiar with the environment and the challenges and opportunities which exist. Further growth in this sector is key for developing the healthcare industry for the benefit of all of us. For this reason, I am happy to be able to use my broad knowledge working at Atrium who are “experts in educating experts”.

Why do you think it is important to educate yourself throughout your life?

"There are several reasons for me to choose lifelong learning. First of all, it keeps my brain fit for fight: the brain is a muscle, and muscles needs training to keep fit and healthy. Further, the world and especially the healthcare industry is under constant change and development, and I want to keep myself up to date and in line with that. Finally, I like it – it is, quite simply, satisfying to learn something new."

What do you think is the strength of exactly Atrium's courses?

"Atrium has existed for 50 years and is owned by Lif (The Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry). For me, this is a quality stamp, as our utmost interest is to develop courses, which fulfil the needs of the healthcare industry. This is mirrored in our broad portfolio of courses and educational programmes covering the medical product lifecycle from molecule to marketing authorisation."
