Summary
Whether you work in a large or small organisation, subsidiary, or head office, you should already be familiar with the EU's new sustainability reporting requirements (CSRD). These requirements demand input and data from the entire business (not just the head office) and the entire value chain, which will bring changes across functions and organisations.
This course provides insight into the goals and context of the new sustainability reporting requirements (CSRD - Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) adopted by the Danish Parliament in May 2024.
You will be equipped to ask the right questions in a timely manner, and you will learn about double materiality assessments (DMAs) and scope 1-3, ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) and value chain responsibility.
You will get inspiration from some of the frontrunners in the life science industry and learn how to spot improvement potentials for your own organisation.
This course focuses specifically on the challenges of the life science industry, including the fact that more than 80 percent of a drug's impact on the environment and climate is determined during the development phase.
In addition to offering inspiration from various subject matter experts, this course is highly hands-on. At the end of the course, you will have gained a basic understanding of how to conduct a double materiality assessment in the life science industry and you will know where to go for more, relevant information and knowledge.
The goal of the course is for participants to see the new requirements not only as a compliance exercise, but also as a catalyst for life science companies to take action and achieve their sustainability goals.
