Meet Maibritt

One of Atrium's strengths is the team that makes it happen. Here you can meet Maibritt who is Head of Commercial Team. What is that? And what does Maibritt’s background in Learning and Development at Global Life Science companies mean for your experience at Atrium’s continuing education?

Why do you think it is exciting to work with education for the life science sector?

"Because it is about life and quality of life. This industry has an impact on all people’s lives to a greater or lesser extent. I am driven by making a difference for others – to empower people in the industry to tackle current and future challenges as best possible.

My long-time background from B2B and B2C sales/marketing coupled with Learning & Development experience from, among others, global life science companies has given me a holistic understanding of how you translate company goals and strategies into competence needs and behavioural changes. It has also taught me how different learning methods and technologies can be used to achieve the greatest possible effect for the individual as well as the company."

Why do you think it is important to educate yourself throughout your life?

"Firstly, because it enriches us as individuals to learn new things continuously. Secondly, because it is a necessity in order to maintain one’s ‘market value’ in the labour market throughout a long working life. Continued education is many things, but in essence it’s about learning new skills and behaviours."

What do you think is the strength of exactly Atrium’s courses?

"It’s the passion of the people who work in Atrium about what we do. We feel a connection to both our courses and in particularly our course participants. Despite how clichéd it may sound, joining an Atrium course or network is somewhat like joining our family, and that, I believe, is a strength – that we all strive to make each other and the industry as good as possible. Atrium is a meeting place for people sharing a common goal: to progress, learn and refresh."
