Summary
Medical Affairs is evolving. Scientific expertise remains at the heart of the function, and the role of Medical Affairs continues to expand. Increasingly, Medical Affairs translates scientific evidence and stakeholder insights into strategy, shapes evidence generation, informs cross-functional decision-making, and creates meaningful value for patients, healthcare systems, and organizations.
At the same time, stakeholder expectations are rising and access to healthcare professionals is becoming more challenging. This makes the ability to connect science, strategy, and patient impact more important than ever.
This two-day, highly interactive workshop explores the evolving role of Medical Affairs and how scientific expertise, evidence, stakeholder insights, and cross-functional collaboration come together to inform decisions, shape strategy and create impact.
Using a realistic launch scenario based on real-world data, participants will work through the decisions and activities that connect science to strategy to patient impact. Through practical exercises, group discussions, and expert facilitation, they will identify evidence needs, challenge assumptions through an outside-in perspective, translate evidence and insights into Medical Affairs strategy, and turn strategy into action.
