Mental health screening and psychiatric assessments often rely on self-reported symptoms, which can leave important gaps in understanding. In this webinar, Kamilla Woznica Miskowiak will present the VIRDIS study, a large-scale clinical research project combining immersive VR and physiological measurements to support the objective screening and differential diagnosis of mental disorders. She will share key findings from the study, discuss its design, and introduce a new industry pilot applying the same methodology in a real-world setting, with further results expected in 2027.

Kamilla Woznica Miskowiak is Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of BioXR and leads clinical research at the NEAD Centre, Psychiatric Centre Copenhagen and the University of Copenhagen. With nearly two decades of experience in neuroimaging research and more than 320 scientific publications, she leads BioXR's clinical study on VR-based objective screening for mental disorders.
