Summary

The new EU General Data Protection Regulation will be introduced in May 2018. The new rules will mean that pharmaceutical companies and the health care sector will be required to change or upgrade their IT security and processes relating to the handling of personal data.

All Danish companies and public sector organizations must either appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) or designate a member of staff who will be responsible for ensuring that personal data is handled appropriately and in line with applicable rules.

Together with the legal firm Bech-Bruun, we have designed this Data Protection Officer training course for individuals who will either become their workplace’s Data Protection Officer or who will be responsible for data protection in a pharmaceutical company.
